Nutrawise makes debut at Tustin headquarters

A team of veterans with more than 200 years of combined experience heads the natural products manufacturer.

Local nutraceuticals distributorNutrawise has recently entered the dietary supplement industry with the unveiling of its new headquarters in Tustin. The products (“nutraceuticals” is a combination of “nutrition” and “pharmaceutical”) made at the new headquarters, say company reps, will surpass the standard Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) requirements that are imposed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. These requirements guarantee that all products are safe and effective to consumers. 

“My talented leadership group is far from being a stranger to this industry,” said Darren Rude, Nutrawise founder and CEO. “Our life’s work has brought us here, and our focus is to put our principles and people first, while providing the highest quality products, service and value to our customers.”

Nutrawise is currently developing an array of beauty supplies. By the end of the year, the company will distribute these products under its own brand name, Youtheory. 

“Our mission is to be a purpose-driven company working to make the world a healthier place to live – whether it’s through Nutrawise nutritional supplements, business partner offerings or our community responsibilities,” said Rude.

Natural Products Industry Veterans Launch Nutrawise

Nutrawise headquarters and manufacturing facility sets industry benchmark 

Nutrawise recently celebrated the grand opening of its new headquarters in Tustin, Calif. A manufacturer and distributor of leading nutraceuticals, the Nutrawise mission is to expand the definition of health and beauty. 

Led by Founder and CEO, Darren Rude, the management team is among the most experience in the natural product industry. 

“My talented leadership group is far from being a stranger to this industry,” said Darren. “Our life’s work has brought us here, and our focus is to put our principles and people first, while providing the highest quality products, service and value to our customers.”

“We do not cut corners in production,” Darren continued. “Our products go beyond minimum label requirements. We believe in the effectiveness of our products, so much so, we would not sell anything we would not take ourselves.”

To safeguard this priority, the Nutrawise headquarters is an expansive building. The facility raises the bar for the nutraceutical industry by exceeding CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards. The standards are set forth by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration requiring manufacturers, processors and packagers to take proactive steps to ensure their products are safe, pure and effective. 

Darren grew up in retail. He saw the potential in the natural products industry, more than  20 years ago. Prior to starting Nutrawise, he served for a decade as executive vice president for the NeoCell Corporation. Today, Nutrawise is a top distributor of the NeoCell family of products found at stores like Costco, Sam’s Club and Walmart.

 

Beyond its relationship with NeoCell, Nutrawise is developing, manufacturing and by late this year, will distribute a variety of beauty and wellness supplements under their own brand, Youtheory.

Meet JoAnna Matthews | Nutrawise Hires Vice President of Sales and Marketing 

JoAnna Matthews has been named the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Nutrawise a leading manufacturer of health and beauty supplements.

Matthews, a 25-year veteran of the health and beauty industry started at the bottom, working at Costco pushing carts. From there she worked her way up serving in multiple facets including Owner of “Innovative Concepts” a brokerage representing Costco manufacturers and a buyer for health and beauty aids for Costco. 

As the Vice President of Sales and Marketing she will oversee sales objectives for Nutrawise including the launch of the Youtheory brand later this summer.

“JoAnna brings vast experience to our company, she and I have worked closely in the past and I know she has the talent, experience and drive to put Nutrawise on the right footing,” said Darren Rude, founder and CEO of Nutrawise. “Her contacts with brokers and distributers are a real asset to our company.”

Rude notes, “The Youtheory brand will revolutionize how people think about supplements. We are delivering an extraordinary product.”

Matthews is excited to be joining the Nutrawise team.

“We’re looking forward to executing creative marketing strategies for this exciting new company, and brand that we expect will drive healthy sales results by the end of the year,” said Matthews.

In her spare time Matthews enjoys working with the youth. She’s an avid volunteer with youth groups and coach of youth soccer team. She also tries to stay active by golfing and cycling.
